MY THOUGHTS ABOUT PAINTING
The transparency and freshness of watercolour is what I love, and the play of light and shadow is what I focus on. I’m fascinated watching flat white paper transform into a colourful illusion of depth and fullness. I strive to have my paintings engage a viewer’s heart and mind.
Whether painting landscapes, florals, still life or portraits, I become immersed in the creative process, enjoying the magic of watercolour and the challenges each painting presents. Time becomes irrelevant!
